Callie Barrier

Callie Lucille Hatley Barrier, 88, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Monday, October 31, 2011 at Carebridge Assisted Living in Mt. Pleasant. She was born on September 26, 1923 in Cabarrus County to the late Charles and Ethel Almond Hatley. She was also preceded in death by her husband Clifford Monroe Barrier, and daughter Alma Cook. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Wednesday, November 2nd from 10 until 11 am, a Graveside service will follow at 11:30 am at Mission Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ronnie Russell will officiate. She is survived by: daughters, Elaine Hall of Concord and Susie Kidd of Mt. Pleasant; brother, Charles Hatley, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant; sisters, Georgia Wetter and Lois Burris both of Mt. Pleasant; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
