Calvin Ritchie

Rev. Calvin Roy Ritchie, 90, of Midland, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021 at his home. 

 Calvin was born April 5, 1931 in North Carolina to the late Sam Ritchie and the late Fannie Ritchie. 
 Ordained a Minister of the gospel and for two years served as a missionary to the American Indians in Arizona. He went to Ireland, Scotland and England as an Evangelist.  Later together with his wife, Mary, took teams to France, were involved in village evangelism and Church Planting in England for 32 years. 

 He was also preceded in death by his daughter Rebekah Ritchie. 

 The family will have a Graveside Service Thursday at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Cemetery in Locust officiated by Rev. Dr. Kinney Wallace. 320 South Central Ave., Locust. 

 Survivors include loving wife of 55 years, Mary Frances Ritchie, daughter, Naomi Blocker, and grandchildren Natalie and Cody.
