Candie Blanton

Candie Lorraine Hinson Blanton 52, of Midland, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at her home. Candie was born August 3, 1961 in Mecklenburg County to Hubert Durant Hinson and Jean Garmon Hinson of Midland. She was a respiratory therapist at CMC-Union. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 6 until 8 pm. The funeral service will be at Mill Grove United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 26th at 2 pm following a 30 min. state, officiated by Rev. Bob Sturge. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In addition to her parents she is survived by her sons, Kyle Blanton and fiance Casey Lowder of Midland, Ryan Harris and wife Jessica of Midland, and Tyler Harris of Albemarle; siblings, Starr Page and husband Mark of Stanfield, Tonie Hinson and wife Tina of Midland, and Kathy McCoy and husband John of Stanfield; and one grandson, Bryndon Harris of Midland; five nephews, Daniel, Houston, Dillon, Caleb, and Kolt: two nieces, Angela and Kristin; and one great niece Gracie. At other times the family will be meeting at the home of her parents. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Blanton family.
