Cannie Hudson

Cannie Bell Hudson, 91 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.

Cannie Bell was born January 10, 1924 in Stanly County, North Carolina to the late Irenus Burris and the late Nora Morton Burris. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Krone Mitchell Hudson; two grandsons, William Mitchell Hudson and Paul Brandon Hudson; five sisters; and one brother.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, officiated by son, Rev. Harvey Hudson.

Survivors include daughters, Judy Hudson of Albemarle and Elaine Foreman and husband Doug of Norwood; sons, Harvey Hudson and wife Debbie of Monroe, Roger Hudson and wife, Darlene of Albemarle and Paul Hudson of Weddington; 15 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sister, Helen Hatley of Albemarle; and sister-in-law, Eunice Burris of Albemarle.
