Carl Lee Eudy, 63, of 125 Plantation Dr., King, NC passed away March 8, 2012 at the Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury. A memorial service, officiated by Dr. D. Terrell Watts, will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Oakboro First Baptist Church, 332 N. Main St, Oakboro, at 2 PM. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall for 30 minutes prior to the service. The burial will follow at Smith Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Oakboro, with military honors conducted by the Stanly County DAV, Chapter 12. Born June 17, 1948 in Mecklenburg County, NC, he was the son of the late Horace Lee Eudy and the late Eva Mae Deese Eudy. He is survived by 3 sisters; Margo Plyler of Stanfield, Louise Walker of Albemarle and Vickie Yandle of Oakboro; brother, Butch Eudy of Black Mountain.
