Carl Huneycutt

Carl Kenneth Huneycutt, 79 years of age, of Monroe, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Monroe Manor in Monroe.

Mr. Huneycutt was born June 25, 1937 in Union County to the late Reece Huneycutt and the late Vassie Pauline Lambert Huneycutt.
He was also preceded in death by wife of 55 years, Shirley Jean Huneycutt, in 2012.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Philadelphia Baptist Church. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 11:00 am at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Stanfield officiated by Rev. Dwight Mabry. Burial will follow at the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery at 12568 Philadelphia Church Rd., Stanfield.

Survivors include his daughter, Jean Leigh Furr and husband, Randy, of Marshville; one son, Carl Douglas Huneycutt of Polkton; grandchildren, Delaney Furr and Aaron Furr; and four sisters, Brenda O'Kelly, Loretta Hill, Renay Moore, and Vicki Pope.
