Carl Jeffrey Huneycutt, age 48 of 119 B Lee S. Richfield, NC 28137 passed away on June 18,2010 at his home. Born on December 26, 1961 in Ft. Bragg, NC. He was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Richfield, NC He was a detention officer for the Stanly County Sheriff’s Department. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 21, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. Friends are welcome to come by the funeral home to pay their respects after 6 p.m. Sunday. Funeral service will held on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 11:00 at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, with the ministers Rev. Ruth Ann Sipe and Rev. John Kahl officiating. Burial will follow at Richfield Cemetery. He is survived by his father, Carl Alfred Huneycutt, Jr. and mother Lillian Barbee Huneycutt of Richfield; sister, Karen Myers and husband Scotty; nephews, Joshua and Brandon Myers; brother, Kenneth Huneycutt.
