Carl King

Carl Roland King, 73, of Concord, NC, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2011. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Carolina Memorial Park, 601 Mt. Olivet Church Road, Concord, NC. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 p.m. He was born on April 25, 1938, to the late Lee Lawrence King and the late Sarah Christeen Brady King of Concord, NC. Mr. King was preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal K. Hagler and a son, Randy Herrin. He is survived by his wife, Iris Lee Dunlap King of Concord; one son, Lawrence Carl King of West Virginia; a daughter, Teresa King Bentley of Concord and two sisters, Juanita Edwards of Ohio and Rose George of West Virginia. Memorials may be made to the Crippled Children’s Hospital at Children’s Hospital, 2924 Brook Road, Richmond, VA 23220. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the King family.
