Carl Parker

Carl Judson Parker, 25 years of age, of Concord, passed away after a motorcycle accident Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord. Carl was born July 25, 1988, in Charlotte to Carol Morrison Boak and Carl Bradley Parker. He was also preceded in death by grandparents, J.C. and Rosalie Morrison. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Covenant Church of Harrisburg. The memorial service will be on Thursday, May 22, 2014, at 7pm at Covenant Church of Harrisburg and will be officiated by Pastor Dave Hix and Pastor Brandon Bowers. Survivors include mother, Carol Ann Boak and husband William of Concord; father, Carl Bradley Parker of Charlotte; girlfriend and love of his life, Kattie Gill of Harrisburg; grandparents, Carl and June Parker of Pineville, and Ann and Dick Cuppett of Matthews; great-grandmother, Rose Morrison of Dalton, GA; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, church family, and friends. Carl was a 2010 graduate of Appalachain State University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. He recently received his National Academy of Sports Medicine Certification in Personal Training, which was one of his passions.
