Carmaletha Butler

Carmaletha "Sissy" Butler, 79 years of age, of Albemarle, went to be with Jesus, Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Albemarle.
Carmaletha was born April 26, 1936 in Cabarrus County to the late Calvin Monroe Adams and the late Odessa Adams.
She was also preceded in death by husband, Arthur Bernice Butler.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, and will be officiated by Rev. Gary Baker and Rev. Mitchell Cook.
After services the family will receive friends at the home of son, Johnny Ray Garmon from 5-7pm at 1427 Sunset Ave, Albemarle, NC 28001; (980)581-1070.
Survivors include son, Johnny Ray (Barbara Morton) Garmon of Albemarle, NC, daughter, Patricia Ann (Ted Huneycutt) Garmon of Albemarle; daughter, Shelia Garmon of Concord; brothers, Billy Adams of Burlington, and Sonny Adams of Locust; close friend, Debbie Honeycutt; and six grandchildren.
