Carol Austin Lambert

Carol Austin Lambert, 89, of Oakboro, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023.

Mrs. Lambert was born on April 19, 1934, to the late Lonnie and Carrie Hinson Austin. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence Junior Lambert.

Carol attended Oakboro Highschool for her primary education. She was an Account Specialist at Bank of America, where she dedicated her career to providing exceptional service. She found solace and community in her faith, attending services at Gleaning Mission Church and West Oakboro Baptist. 

Please join the family in honoring Carol's life and sharing memories at the memorial service. A memorial service will be held 2:00pm, Friday, December 29, 2023, at Gleaning Mission Church, 21412 East 8th Street, Oakboro, officiated by Pastor Steve Barbee.  A private burial will be held at the Oakboro Cemetery at a later date.

Carol is survived by her loving son, Mark Lambert and wife, Lisa. She was also a cherished grandmother to Mike Lambert and wife, Krista, and an adored great-grandmother to their three children, Alyssa, Christopher, and Annabella. Carol's granddaughter, Heather Lambert, held a special place in her heart.
