Carol Morgan

Carol Frances Morgan, 69 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at her home.
Mrs. Morgan was born May 18, 1946 to the late Lee Andrew Harris and Lillie V Harris. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers; James, Alton, and Lane as well as one sister; Kay. Carol was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother that will be missed by all that knew her. She was an extremely giving soul that constantly contributed to numerous clubs and organizations. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and crafting but ultimately loved spending time with her family.
The graveside service with military honors will be on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 10 am at Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle, officiated by Rev. Ron Honeycutt.
Survivors include; son, Billy Brown and wife Tisha of Albemarle; daughter, Kelly Voyles of Salisbury; grandchildren, Nate Brown, Cora Volyes, Abby Brown, Kayla Brown, Kassidy Volyes, and Courtney Brown; sister, Marie Burris, Dixie Harris; brothers, Bob Harris, Junior Harris, Dean Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews.
