Carolyn Burris

Carolyn Sue Furr Burris, 75 years of age, of Concord, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, October 12, 2016.
Carolyn was born July 17, 1941 in Cabarrus County, NC to the late Homer Lee Furr and the late Minnie Smoot Furr.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Bobby Wayne Burris; sisters, Phyllis Harvell and Betty Jean Wilkerson; brothers, Homer Furr, James Furr and Don Furr.
Survived by her sons, Terry Burris of Charlotte, and Gary Burris of Locust; grandsons, Bobby Burris and fiance Kaitlyn, and Camron Burris and wife Maggie; brothers, Kenneth Furr, Willie Furr and Larry Furr; sister, Brenda Furr Harvell; sisters in law, Thelma Burris and Patsy Burris; special nephew, Timothy Furr; as well as several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm, Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord, officiated by Rev. Jim Pritchett and music vocals by Faye Rivera, and pianist Naomi Smith. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
