Carolyn Culp

Carolyn Jeanette Lowder Culp, age 72 of Gold Hill, passed away on April 26, 2012, at her home, with her loving husband by her side. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Saturday, April 28 from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM. The funeral service will follow in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Ron Honeycutt. Burial will follow at Stanly Gardens of Memory Mausoleum. At other times, the family will meet at her home. Mrs. Culp was born in Stanly County on September 5, 1939 to the late Raymond Eli Lowder and the late Viola Hartsell Lowder. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Floyd Philip Culp, of the home; a brother, Kenneth Lowder of Albemarle; and two sisters, Joyce Grimmette of Charlotte and Nancy Downer of Locust. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N. First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Culp family.
