Carolyn Elaine Dunn, 71, of Concord, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Carolinas ContinueCARE Hospital at University in Charlotte.

Carolyn was born September 18, 1948 in Cabarrus County to the late Margie Stegal.  She was also preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Stegal.

Carolyn was strong-willed and determined.  She was generous and kind-hearted, a good person all the way around.  Carolyn never spoke ill of anyone.  She dearly loved her grandkids.  Carolyn will be greatly missed and forever loved.

Survivors include beloved husband of 35 years, Edward Dunn; son, Charles Dunn and wife, Rochelle, of Concord; daughter, April Fraley; three grandchildren, Jordan, Brock and Gennifer, all of Concord; and a brother, Terry Stegal.

The funeral service will be on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Hartsell Funeral Home Concord Chapel, officiated by Rev. Don Burleyson.  Burial will follow at West Concord Cemetery on Union Cemetery Road.
