Carolyn Ervin

Carolyn Ervin, 78, of Concord, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Carolyn was born May 23, 1944, in Concord to the late Harold and Thelma Small.  She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Ken Ervin.  Carolyn longed for 19 years to be reunited with her husband and Lord, Jesus Christ.  She has won the race.

Carolyn spent her time as a devoted Christian, wife, mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with family, whether at home, the beach, or the mountains.  She was very selfless, always putting others before herself.  Carolyn loved baking, reading, and thrift shopping, but most of all, she loved snuggling with her children and grandchildren.

A memorial service in celebration of Carolyn's life will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at the family home. The family will receive friends following the service until 6:00 pm.  Carolyn will be buried at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, during a private family service.

Survivors include son, Roger Ervin of San Diego, CA; daughter, Anne Ervin of Kannapolis, NC; daughter, Rhonda (John) Love of Albemarle, NC; grandson, Anthony Parish of Kannapolis, NC; granddaughter, Samantha (Timmy) Parish of Goldsboro, NC; granddaughter, Kendall (Travis) Ervin of Concord, NC; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Wyatt, Elijah, Jackson, Silas, Samuel, and Joshua.

Contributions may be made toward funeral expenses.
