Carolyn Marie Mullis, 74 years of age, of Concord, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016 at Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast in Concord.
Carolyn was born January 8, 1942 in Concord to the late Napoleon Lee Smith and the late Alma Ruth Smith. She was also preceded in death by husband, Ronald Max Mullis.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm, Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Rev. Randy Wall. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery of Concord.
Survivors include son, Lionel "Eric" (Cherry) Mullis of Concord; grandchildren, Jason and Leslie of Concord; sister, Peggy Mauldin of Icard, NC; three brothers, Edward Smith of Concord, Johnny (Lois) Smith of Concord, and Gary (Kathy) Smith of Concord; great-grandson, Caleb; two nieces, Suzanne (Jason) Parker of Concord, and Holly (Dale) Burris of Concord; and great-neices and nephews, Carsen, Sawyer, Randi, and Cameron.
