Carolyn Jane ‘Dusty’ Stevely, 78 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Stanly Manor in Albemarle.
Dusty Stevely was born July 29, 1938 to the late Carl and Helen Rhoads of Lansing, NY. She was also preceded in death by Janice Warner (sister). She called Cortland, New York home for most of her life.
Her truly open heart will be remembered by family, friends and animals. Her home and table was always open to everyone and made anything possible.
Survivors include son, Jim Pantas (Julie) of Mount Pleasant, NC; daughter, Maria Stowell (Mike) of Wake Forest, NC; grandchildren, Dustin(Brittany), Sean, Nicole, Caitlin(Rob), and Brandon; siblings; Connie, Jackie, Darrel, Daniel with several nieces and nephews.
