Carolyn Williams

Carolyn "Nana" Daphne Williams, 83 years of age, of Norwood, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 surrounded by her children.

"Nana" was born December 24, 1932 in Forsyth County, to the late Walter Vestal Hester and the late Nora Elizabeth Hester.
She was also preceded in death by first husband of 44 years, Billy J. Williams, Sr., and second husband of nine years, Emory Coleman.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home-Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel and will be officiated by Rev. Tony Thomas and Rev. Ray Johnson. Burial will follow at the Fairview Memorial Park.

Survivors include three daughters, Tanya W. (Dan) Burgess of Albemarle, Lydia W. Smith of Norwood, and Kristi W. (Chad) Humphrey of Albemarle; son, Billy (Amy) Williams, Jr. of Albemarle; ten grandchildren, Justin (Ashley) Burgess, Cameron Burgess, Blake Williams, Hailey (Brandon) Davis, Carmen Miller, Chandler Miller, Lindsey Smith, Allison Smith, Logan Humphrey, Anna Humphrey; and special friends, Dixie Cassell and Lou Page.
