Carrie Love

Carrie Elizabeth Thompson Love, 93, of Concord, passed away June 2, 2010, at her home. Mrs. Love was born September 20, 1916, in Cabarrus County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Love; father, Will Thompson; and mother, Bertha Olivia Griffin Thompson. Visitation will be Friday, 6 – 8 p.m., at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. The funeral service will be Saturday, 4:00 p.m., with a 30 minute state, at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Concord. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at the home of daughter, Elnor. Survivors include her daughter, Elnor Yow of Concord; sister, Mary Davis of Charlotte; grandchildren, Sylvia Crayton, Jackie Hooks, Billy Hooks, and Johnny Hooks; thirteen great-grandchildren; 18 great great-grandchildren; and three great great great-grandchildren.
