Carrol Taylor

Carrol Edward Taylor, 89, of Concord, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 18, 2015.
Mr. Taylor was born February 16, 1926 to the late Edward Eugene Taylor and the late Cora Preslar Taylor. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Taylor; as well as his sister Betty Riggins Davis.
The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Saturday, February 21, at Pitts Baptist Church in Concord. Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm, officiated by Rev. Scott Davis and Rev. Kevin Seger. Burial will be at the Pitts Baptist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his sisters Doris Wells and husband LaVern of Charlotte, NC; Esther Medlin and husband Jerry of Wingate, NC; brothers Arthur Taylor and wife Martha of Wingate, NC, and Don Taylor and wife Mary of Monroe, NC; as well as numerous family members and dear friends.
Memorials may be made to Pitts Baptist Church, 140 Pitts School Road, Concord, NC 28027; or The Gardens of Taylor Glen, 3700 Taylor Glen Lane, Concord, NC 28027.
