Biography Cathy Pindar, 61 years of age, of Belmont, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast in Concord.
Mrs. Pindar was born July 28, 1956 in El Paso, TX, but raised in Columbia, SC to the late Roger E. Pindar and the late Pauline W. Pindar.
Cathy was very active in the medical field earlier in her life. As of late, she was active in the community and her interests including gardening, fishing, art and antique shopping. One of Cathy's greatest loves was her dog, Ezzie. She was a very giving and caring person with a wonderful sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held privately for close family and friends Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Celestial Memorial Gardens in Columbia, SC.
Survivors include sons, Jamie Pindar-Young of Myrtle Beach, SC and Andrew Stace Pindar of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Tristan and Mariah Young and Katie and Jett Pindar; sisters, Paula and Debbie; multiple nieces, nephews and cousins; and also very close friends, Debbie, Lois, Bill, Kay, and too many more to list.
