Catherine Waterbury

Catherine Ann Waterbury, 70, of Concord, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Catherine was born September 28, 1951 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to the late Marion Ella Turner and Justin August Shipchack.
She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jamie Rafus

Catherine spent 30+years of her life caring for others as a CNA, and spent the past 8 years helping to raise her granddaughter Abigail. Catherine was a devoted mother, she spent her life doing anything she could for her family. Catherine will truly be missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include son, William Brice ||| (Cathy) of Harrisburg, NC, daughter,Tammy Taylor of Shallotte, NC  and Jacqueline Brooks of Concord, NC  Also surviving are grandchildren, Ashley Rafus, CJ Taylor, Jordan, Nicholas and Abigail Brooks, Jessica and Billy Brice IV, Samantha Smith, Sirena and Hiliberto “E” Medina, as well as nine great-grandchildren.
