Cecil Furr

Cecil Van Furr, 79, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021.

Cecil was born August 1, 1942 in Stanly County to the late Carl Jenkins Furr and the Nola Ann Burris Furr. He was also preceded in death by brother, Carl Jenkins Furr, Jr. and sister, Hilda Blalock.

Cecil loved hunting and fishing and spending time with friends over a good cup of coffee. He was loved and will be missed by many.

A graveside service will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church, 22182 Canton Road,  Albemarle, NC 28001 and will be officiated by David Anderson.

Survivors include sister, Janice (Donnie) Efird; brother, Gerald Furr;  sister, Wanda Lowder; brother, Terry (Annah) Furr; and many loved ones.
