Cecil Williams

Cecil Barry Williams, 57, of Monroe, NC, passed away July 28, 2011 in Beech Grove, Indiana. Mr. Williams was born March 23, 1954, in Union County. He was preceded in death by his father, Gurthy Julis Williams; mother, Nina Mack Furr Williams; brother, Aubrey Williams; and sister, Beaula Benton. He was a long distance truck driver and attended Antioch Baptist Church of Monroe. The family will receive friends from 7 – 9 p.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be at 11:00 Wednesday, in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Midland. Rev. Joe Query will officiate and burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church of Monroe. At other times, the family will meet at the home of his sister, Joyce Anne Dutton and husband, Bobby, at 1506 Clontz Long Road, Monroe. Survivors include his daughter, Lee Ann Hinson, and husband, Jeremy Hinson; brothers, Rayford and Elsie Williams and Dolin M. and Patricia Williams, both of Monroe; sisters, Emma Williams, Joyce and Bobby Dutton, and Lorraine Tucker, all of Monroe; and grandchildren, Katilyn Lee Hinson and Nathaniel Keith Hinson.
