Chad Lee Bush, 43, of Midland, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord. Chad was born June 6, 1978 in Ithaca New York to Calvin Dean Bush and Linda Marie Bush.
If you knew Chad you knew his passion, Racing! Chad started racing at 19. He would race anything anywhere anytime! Chad would help anyone who needed it especially the kids and they all admired him like a Hero. The McCleary boys promised to do as he asked to "Never Stop Racing and Be Happy". His other request was to keep his cars on the track going "Fast as Hell", and his dad, Calvin and his best friend, LJ will make sure that happens. He was an inspiration on and off the track. He was a fierce competitor who always had a smile on his face despite his own personal battles.
He battled cancer the majority of his life, where his brother Dean was by his side every step of the way. Chad pushed everyone to be their best and to never give up. His shear determination to live life to the fullest everyday is something that he instilled in all of us. His other passion was his family and his people. He adored his daughter Hannah and every moment they spent together. He loved his bonus children as his own and he didn't doubt that they would fulfill his biggest request which was that "they would always watch over Christy". We could go on forever talking about Chad because he was loved by so many, but we will end with what Chad wanted most which was for everyone to "BE HAPPY".
A special thanks to his two angels on earth, his cousin Amanda Sidle and Sherry Pollex.
Forever grateful for Logan and his encouraging talks and endless support in these last few weeks.
