Charles Correll

C. Lewis Correll,Sr., 86, of New London, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. Lewis was born April 22, 1927 in North Carolina to the late Raymond Bowers Correll and Jessie Combs Correll. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Services are pending at this time. Survivors include his loving wife, Janett "Jan" Harris Correll of New London; two sons, Mark Correll of Riverdale, Ga. and Charles "Chuck" Correll, Jr. of Badin; two daughters, Amanda (David) Mauldin; and Vickie Speight, both of Albemarle; four grandchildren; Allison & DJ Mauldin, Christy Brooks, and Ashley Hinson; and three great grandchildren. Mr. Correll was a painting contractor. He was an active member of CARE Cafe at the Taylor House.
