Charles Dixon

Charles K. Dixon of Midland, N.C passed away on Friday April 19th. Charles was born in Richmond, Virginia on August 29,1939.

He served 20 years in Navy, worked for Motorola in Charlotte, and drove a school bus for EC program for Cabarrus County.

His is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Annie Dixon, and his two sisters, Jean and Joyce., and grandchild Grayson Cole, and adopted daughter Betty Carol.

He is survived by his wife Yvette, of 35 years. Three children Dust Hunt (Dexter), Stephen Campbell (Kristie), and Gregory Campbell (Kristy Anderson). He is also survived by adopted children, Kim Whitaker of Bristol, VA. and Bill Jones of Richmond VA.   Also survived by six grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan, Macie, Sydney, Kavon, Parker. Two step grandchildren, Brittney, and Sarah.  Two great grandchildren, Lily, Aurora, and two future grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Masonic Lodge #618 and Alzheimer’s Association.
