Charles Durst

Charles David Durst, 59, of Concord passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 27, 2020.

Charles was born in Jersey City, NJ on December 14, 1961 to Stephen and Judith Durst. He moved with his family to California where he
graduated from Los Gatos High School. He was married to Shelly for 34 years. He was a father of two daughters Michelle and Amy.

Charles was a devoted husband, father and friend to many. He was an avid hunter, and enjoyed fishing and vacationing in the Outer Banks and Cape Cod.
Chuck worked as a Concrete Plant Manager for over 30 years. He liked his job but loved being the boss. Charles loved going to antique shops and
collecting vintage bicycles in his spare time. Chuck touched the hearts of so many people he knew. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and
all who loved him.

Charles is survived by his wife, Shelly; his daughters, Michelle and Amy; his mother, Judith; his brothers, Stephen and Philip; and his sister, Nancy.
He is preceded in death by his father, Stephen.

Service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021, 1:00 pm at the Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord, NC.
