Charles Farrell

Charles Ray Farrell, 70, of Badin Shores, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Carolinas HealthCare System Stanly in Albemarle.
Charles was born October 11, 1946 in Robeson County to the late James Younger Farrell and the late Julia Estelle Cashwell Farrell. He was also preceded in death by his son, James Robert Farrell.
There will be a private family service at a later date. The family will be meeting at the home.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Sylvia Ann Collins Farrell of the home; daughter, Lisa Singletary and husband Theodore of Badin Shores; grandchild, Amelia Jade Singletary of Badin Shores; aunts, Zelma White and Dorothy Jackson, both of St. Pauls.
Charles was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He worked as a supervisor, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
