A man of deep faith, Charles was a dedicated member of Pitts Baptist Church in Concord, North Carolina, where he found joy in worship and fellowship. His love for Jesus was evident throughout his life, and he spent many years teaching and mentoring boys through the Royal Rangers program. His influence and faith continue to inspire those who knew him, and his family takes comfort in knowing he is now with his Savior.

Charles worked as an electrician at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte for many years, earning respect for his dedication and expertise. In retirement, he found fulfillment in serving others through the American Legion, the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), and as a faithful member of Pitts Baptist Church.

A man of great kindness and warmth, Charles loved spending time with his family, delighting in the company of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Whether enjoying the outdoors, chatting with his neighbors, or simply sharing a smile, he had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel like a friend. He truly never met a stranger.

Charles’s legacy of love, faith, and service will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

A small private family service will be held to honor Charles’ life. He will be laid to rest during a private committal at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Pitts Baptist Church or to a charity of your choice.

Charles Arthur Fero will be deeply missed, but his family rejoices in knowing he is at home with Jesus, whom he loved and served faithfully throughout his life.
