Charles Glover

Charles Milford Glover, 77, of Indian Trail, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, February 28, 2019.

Mr. Glover was born March 23, 1941 in Ohio to the late Charles Melvin and Magenolia Smith Glover. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Joy Jean Glover.

Charles was founder and CEO of CG Painting Company Inc. from 1968 - 2001. He was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church. Charles was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family. He helped his sons with their racing and spent much of his time interacting with his grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 12:45 pm, Monday, March 4, 2019, at Clear Creek Baptist Church, 9015 Ferguson Rd. Charlotte. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Homer Murdock, Rev. Don Lisk and Rev. Dr. Rocky Branch. Burial will conclude at the Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Rd., Mint Hill, with military honors.

Charles is survived by: wife of 57 years, Judith Anne Glover; sons, Charles Michael Glover, Patrick Glover; daughter-in-laws, Karen Lorayne Glover, Annemarie Glover; grandchildren, Katherine Brown, Gracie Glover, Manning Glover; great-grandchildren, Adalynn Brown, Abigail Brown; brothers, Jack Glover, Rick Glover; sister, Patricia Warren.
