Charles Hampton Hatley, 80, of Oakboro, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.
Mr. Hatley was born July 4, 1941 to the late Edgar Charles and Auta Mae Tarlton Hatley. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Eddie Charles Hatley.

He was an honest, hardworking man who enjoyed farming, sharing his crops with others and spending time with his family, especially his four grandchildren. After a short, but courageous battle with cancer, heaven has gained another angel.
