Charles Matthew Kippes, 46 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at his home in Oakboro.
Charles was born May 2, 1970 in Albany, GA to the late Laverne Joseph Kippes and the late Helen Olive Kippes.
The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church of Oakboro from 10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Terrell Watts, will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the church sanctuary.
Burial will be Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road, Mount Pleasant, South Carolina 29464.
Survivors include fiancée, Katie Moseff of Oakboro; brothers, Kerry (Patricia) Kippes of Evansville, IN, and Joseph (Cindy) Kippes of York, SC; daughters, Nicole Kippes, Victoria "Charlie" Kippes, Meyotas Kippes, and Justice "Bug" Kippes all of Oakboro; son, Matthew "Wil" Kippes of Oakboro; step-daughters, Jessica (Christian) Moseff of Huntersville, Abigail Williams of Oakboro; and step-daughter, Isabel Cullen-Zeock of Oakboro; aunts, Bertha (Chuck) Sink and Babe Sosa; and uncles, William (Apsley) Foxworth and Duane (Bea) Kippes.
