Charles Mcclelland

Charles Lee McClelland, 82, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017, surrounded by his family at his home.

Mr. McClelland was born December 6, 1934 in Bartow, Florida to the late Richard Lee McClelland and the late Thelma Louise Levins McClelland.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The burial will be at a later date at Fort Myer Cemetery in Florida.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Lou Clemons McClelland of Albemarle; daughters, Patty Glotz and husband Bill of Albemarle; Debbie Barbato and husband Dan of Orlando, FL; and son, Charlie and wife Teresa of Hickory, NC. He leaves seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren who loved and adored him. Our hearts are truly broken. Life will not be the same without him.
