Charles Miller

Charles Blaney Miller, 86, formerly of Badin, passed away March 22, 2013 at Forrest Oakes Nursing and Rehabilitation, Albemarle, NC. The graveside service will be at Fairview Memorial Park on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at 2 p.m. Rev. Laura Hamrick will officiate. Born January 5, 1927 in Stanly County, NC, he is the son of the late Isaac Miller and the late Hattie Rhyne Miller. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Robbie E. Lineberry Miller. He served in the reserves after the US Navy, was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He was an ardent golfer, a member of Stanly County Country Club, played the trombone as a young boy and enjoyed fishing. He was a welder for Alcoa and a member of Badin Baptist Church.
