Charles Piercy

US Navy Veteran, Charles Edward Piercy, 75, of Charlotte, NC passed away at home on Sunday, July 22, 2018 following a battle with cancer.

Charles was born July 18, 1943 in Charlotte, NC to the late Ruby Case and the late Romeo Piercy.
He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Dale Joseph Horne, III.

Charles is survived by his children Teresa Meredith and husband Junior of Knoxville, TN; Tammy Stack and husband Tony of Midland, NC; Scott Piercy of Stallings, NC; and Darlene Jackson of Concord, NC; nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren; as well as his sisters Barbara Williams of Concord, NC; Evelyn Bonnett and husband Roy of Huntersville, NC; and Doris McCoy and husband Harold also of Huntersville, NC.

Charles was a simple man that enjoyed spending his time with family and friends, his daily coffee and cigarettes, and the company of his faithful companion, Bentley his chihuahua.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland.
