Charles Purser

Charles Franklin Purser, age 80, of 1824 Clontz Long Rd, Monroe, N.C., died Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at CMC - Main in Charlotte, N.C. Mr. Purser was employed by Celanese Corporation. He served in the Navy. He was the son of the late Arthur Sanford Purser and the late Lola (Haigler) Purser. He is survived by his wife Edna Jane (Mullis) Purser, two children, daughter Donna and husband Robert Van Sant and their daughter Robin; son Steve and his daughter, Stephanie Lopez and husband Victor, plus his great grandchildren Jeffrey, Victor and Lucas. Arrangements are being handled by Hartsell Funeral Home - Midland, N.C., where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday, July 10, 2009. Funeral service will be at Hartsell Funeral Home - Midland at 2:00 PM Friday, July 10, 2009 , Rev. Lee Davis officiating. Interment will be at Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe, N.C.
