Charles “Chuck” David Sigler, 64, of Harrisburg, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025.
Chuck was born on April 7, 1960, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, to the late Charles Wilbur Sigler and the late Martha Lentz Black Sigler. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marie Sigler, with whom he shared 38 wonderful years of laughter, adventure, and love.
Chuck was a devoted family man who lived for the moments spent with his loved ones. Whether it was hosting Friday night trivia, enjoying Sunday lunches after church, or attending Bible study, Chuck found joy in the simplest of gatherings. His deep faith was at the heart of everything he did, and he lived every day with a heart full of gratitude, always in conversation with God. As an active member of Harrisburg Presbyterian Church, Chuck was known for his wisdom, warmth, and generosity, leaving a lasting mark on all who crossed his path.
Chuck was an outdoor enthusiast, always up for a round of golf, disc golf, or spending time at the family pond. He loved the thrill of competition and cherished the time he spent with his children and grandchildren. A lifelong sports fan, Chuck was especially passionate about his Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers, never missing an opportunity to cheer them on. But perhaps his greatest joy was watching his granddaughters play soccer—these moments truly lit up his life.
Adventurous and curious, Chuck traveled to all 50 states, eager to experience all the world had to offer. He took great pride in his career as a Vice President of Treasury in several banks, most recently at Regions Bank, where his colleagues admired his leadership and his big heart. He touched many lives with his professionalism and kindness.
Chuck was a proud graduate of Catawba College, earning his bachelor’s degree in business and economics in 1982. During his time there, he made the Dean’s List on multiple occasions, showcasing his dedication and hard work. His education laid the foundation for his successful career and his commitment to excellence.
Always quick with a joke, Chuck was known for his infectious sense of humor. He had a special gift for lightening the mood and making everyone around him laugh. His warmth and wit were part of what made him so loved by everyone who knew him. But beyond his humor, Chuck’s greatest quality was his selflessness. He was always putting others first, offering his time, energy, and love to everyone around him without hesitation.
Chuck’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and joy. He was a beloved husband, father, uncle, and PopPop, and his family and friends will always hold him close in their hearts.
