Charles Skinner, Jr

Mr. Charles Dickson Skinner, Jr. 66 of 16726 Frog Pond Road Oakboro, formerly of Indian Trail, NC and Warren Ohio passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2010 at Harris Hospice Unit in Charlotte. Born on December 26, 1943 in Warren Ohio to the late Charles Dickson Skinner, Sr. and the late Ruth Freer Skinner. Also preceded in death by his wife Karen Mann Skinner. Mr. Skinner was a roll grinder in the steel industry, and was a veteran of the US Navy. The family will be at the home of a daughter Shelley Tuttle at 3574 Farm Lake Drive Concord, NC 28027, where family and friends will gather on Saturday, June 12th at 5 PM. There will be no scheduled services. Survived by: son, Steve Skinner of Oakboro, NC; daughters, Shelley Tuttle of Concord, NC, Lara Whitaker of Rock Hill, SC; brothers, Paul Skinner of Xenia, OH, Rick Skinner of Warren, OH, Clyde Skinner of Albuquerque, NM; sisters, Donna Gatrell of Courtland, Ohio, Rhonda Allen of Courtland, OH, Denise Gladd of State College, PA; 5 grandchildren.
