Charles Sebron Smith, 55 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014 at his residence.
Charles was born August 5, 1959 in Stanly County, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his father Sebron Silas Smith.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 4:00 pm at Bethel Baptist Church, 617 Bethel Church Road, in Locust officiated by Rev. Dwight Mabry and Rev. Charlie Littlejohn. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include wife, Crystal Smith of the home; mother, Wincie Smith of Locust; son, Logon Smith of the home; sister, Carol Howard of Concord; brothers, Jerry Smith (Saundra) of Stanfield and Terry Smith (Darla) of Albemarle; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Charles enjoyed riding horses with his family and friends. He worked in the printing service for over 35 years. His great loves were being outdoors, riding his tractor and working in the yard. He will be deeply missed by his family members and friends.
