Charles Worley

Charles Carlton Worley, 64 years of age, of New London, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.

Charles was born July 29, 1950 in Oconee County, South Carolina, to the late Roy Carlton Worley and to the late Helen Ross Worley.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Centerview Baptist Church in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Todd Galloway. Burial will follow at the Centerview Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include wife, June Worley of New London, NC; sons, Brian (Patty) Caulder of Concord and Brian Worley of Charlotte; daughters, Star (Roger) Fraley of New London, Teresa (Elmer) Huneycutt of Oakboro and Tracey (Jeremy) Cauble of Mt. Pleasant; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia (James) Farmer of Rockwell.

Mr. Worley retired from Alcoa after 30 years.
