Charles Lester Young, 74 years of age, of Midland, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord.
Les was born February 24, 1941 in Tazewell County, Virginia to the late Henry Layton Young and the late Mary Grey Wilson Young. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Douglas "Chum", Henry "Chip", and Joe Young.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.
He is survived by his sons, Bruce Young and wife Gina of Stanfield, and Shane Young and wife Lisa of Monroe; daughter, Ginger Young of Midland; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Albert Young of OH; and sister, Linda Jean Kidd of VA.
Les was a unique person with a personality all his own. He was a man of strong convictions in what he believed in. Les loved going fishing and traveling.
