Charlie Clark

Charlie James Clark, 87, of Concord, formerly of Stanly County, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Tucker Hospice House. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Friday, February 1, 2013 from 6 until 8 pm. The funeral service will be at Bethlehem Baptist Church 42 Lisk Avenue, Concord on Saturday, February 2nd at 11 am, with Pastor Ed Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Mr. Clark was born on October 17, 1925 in Stanly County, to the late John Martin Clark and Lula Elizabeth Smith Clark. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Doris C. Clark and second wife Joyce S. Clark. Charlie was a retired machinist . He is survived by his son, Roger Clark and wife Jean of Concord; grandchildren, Erica Brook Carnes and husband Michael of CA, and Derek Sean Clark and wife Kelsey of Camp Lejeune, NC; great-granddaughter, Riley Grace Clark.
