Charlie Eudy

Charlie Clay Eudy age 92 passed away August 29,2009 at the Lutheran Home of Albemarle. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and a veteran of the US Air Force. Visitation will be Sunday, August 30, 2009 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle from 6 pm to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday, August 31, 2009 4:00 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church with a 30 minute state. Rev. Joe Smith officiating.Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Military honors graveside by Albemarle Stanly County DAV Chapter 12. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 1309 Old Charlotte Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001 and Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N. 1st St. Albemarle,NC He is survived by his wife Auta B. McLester Eudy of Albemarle; sons,Clegg Eudy and wife Elaine of Albemarle;Dwight Eudy and wife Vicky of Albemarle;daughters, Josephine Huneycutt and husband Bob of Albemarle; Melinda Drake and husband JR of Albemarle; sister, Ruth Whitley of Albemarle; grandchildren; Tonya Herlocker, Mike Lowder, Marlette Godwin, Jeffery Drake, Steve Drake, Kimberly McKnight, Karman Christensen, Chad Eudy, 13 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, William Riley Eudy and Dovie Goodman Eudy; stepmother, Annie Eudy,deceased brothers and sisters; Cardell Eudy, Gene Eudy, Maxine Efird, Odene Harvell and Rachel Page.
