Charlotte Conner

Charlotte Powell Conner, 84, of Midland, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Charlotte was born January 12, 1935 in North Carolina to the late Alvis and Elva Powell.  She was also preceded in death by husband, Jerry Conner.

Charlotte retired from The Hartford Insurance after more than 30 years of dedicated service.  She was a member of Bethel UMC, Midland.  Charlotte loved working puzzles and going out to eat with friends.  She will be remembered for always making people laugh.  Charlotte was a loving mother and grandmother.  She will be dearly missed and forever loved.

Survivors include son, Steve Conner of Midland; son, Michael Conner and wife, Cindy, of Midland; daughter, Sandra Conner of Midland; brother, Ted Powell and wife, Sherry of Harrisburg; granddaughter, Amber Furr and husband, Zach, of Midland; granddaughter, Amy Helms and husband, Mitchell, of Stanfield; great-granddaughter, Madelyn Furr; niece, Leslie Young and husband, Robbie, of Churchland; and niece, Ashley Honeycutt and husband, Matt, of Harrisburg.

A graveside service will be on Sunday at 3:00 pm at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, 12700 Idlebrook Road, Midland, officiated by Rev. Mark Clontz.  Following the service, the family will receive friends in the sanctuary from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm.

The Conner family would like to thank Charlotte's caregiver, Angie, for the wonderful care she provided.
