Chase Winnen

Chase Winnen, age 12, of Concord, NC went into the loving arms of the Lord Wednesday, May 6, 2015.

Chase Magdeline-Anne Winnen was born on June 22, 2002 in Fairbanks, Alaska. She is the daughter of Carmen Smith and Ted Winnen, Jr.

Chase was a student at Metro School, in Mecklenburg County. She had an infectious grin and little giggle that would burst from her belly and brighten up the room. She had a unique outlook on life: She was the sun, and you all revolved around her, catering to her every whim!

Chase is survived by her mother, Carmen (Patrick) Smith of Concord, NC.

Brother, Kage Winnen, of Concord, NC.

Grandparents, Gayle and Kip Reaves, of Imlay City, MI; Paul Lee of Warren, MI; Randy Klebs of Royal Oak, MI; Geraldine Smith, of Haslett, MI.

Father, Ted (Annie) Winnen of Newport News, VA.

Aunts, Candice (John) McLennan of Oceanside, CA; Amy (Ryan) Nolin, of Imlay City, MI; Summer Reaves of Utica, MI; Nicole (Alan) Shaw of Joliet, IL; Ashley Klebs of Royal Oak, MI; Elizabeth Smith, of Williamston, MI.

Uncles, Cooper (Tristan) Smith of Milford, MI; Shawn (Traci) Smith, of Cincinnati, OH.

Half-siblings Amelia and Hunter Winnen.

The family would like to thank all of the care-givers and all who have loved Chase throughout her short life.

She is proceeded in death by her Grandmother, Pamela Klebs; Grandfather, Dr. Mahlon Cooper Smith.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, in Michigan.
