Cheryl Ann Hiller

Cheryl Ann Hiller, 77, of Concord, passed away Monday, October 2nd, 2023, at Five Oaks Nursing Home in Concord.

Cheryl was born July 9th, 1946, in Bloomingdale, NJ, to the late John and Muriel Pettenger. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Charles Hiller, Sr.; and brother, John Pettenger Jr.

Cheryl was a world-famous NYC Rockette. She started her own dance studio in Butler, NJ, and successfully ran this for 44 years. Through the years, Cheryl had many names, most notably Miss Cherie, Sam, and most importantly, Oma. She was a loving wife, mother, Grandma Sam (Oma) and Great-Grandmother. Cheryl will be forever loved and dearly missed.

Survivors include her son, Charles Hiller, Jr., and wife, Heather, of Dingmans Ferry, PA; son, Gene Hiller, and wife, Dawn, of Harrisburg, NC; brother, Jim Pettenger, and wife, Dawn, of Sumpter, SC; 12 Grandchildren, Ashley, Bobby, Gabrielle, John Jr. and wife, Allyson, Emilee, Jenna, Melissa, Charles III, Rebecca, Gisella, Naomi, and Selena; and 4 Great-Grandchildren, Arthur, Abigail, Samuel, and Owen.
