Chester Burchfield

Chester Earl  Burchfield, 77, of Midland, passed away on  April 23, 2022 at his home in Midland, NC.

He was born on February 24, 1945 to Frank and Stella Burchfield in Newport, TN.

He was a loving husband and a caring father. In his spare time he would be found fishing and enjoying the outdoors.   Chester will be remembered for the love of his fcc radio, and how he would always take time to teach people new things.  His love and dedication to his country never faltered, and he was awarded the Purple Heart Medal during his time in U.S Navy.

Chester will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.  The family would like to send special thanks to Kerri Clontz, The Troutman family, and Billy McKenzie for all the love and support shown during this difficult time.

Survivors include wife, Barbara Burchfield of Midland; sons, Michael Jordan, Thomas Lovell, Brett Johnson, Billy Jo Burchfield, daughter, Brittany Burchfield, and son, Steven Danner; and 15 grandchildren.
