Chris Almond

Chris David Almond, 54 of Norwood, NC passed away on March 20, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center-North East in Concord. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 23 at Hartsell Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. The service will be held Thursday, March 24 at 2 PM in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel. Rev. Mark Mabry and Dr. Eddie Burris will officiate the services. Mr. Almond was born in Albemarle, NC on October 11, 1956 to Jim and Cora Lee Almond. He was the owner of Almond Hardware, which was started by his grandfather, H.S. Almond in 1940. Mr. Almond is survived by his wife Debbie Almond of the home; his parents, Jim and Cora Lee Almond; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved Schnauzer, Sassy. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Almond family.
